Chang'an automobile sales fell 20.4% in November, and SUV models declined severely.

As a supplier who has been cooperating with Chang'an, Chang'an's sales also affect the sales performance of Feilong Jiangli in Chongqing. We look forward to the recovery of Chang'an's sales, and promise to develop high-quality new products with Chang'an to provide better service to customers.

Chang'an Automobile released the latest sales data: in November, Chang'an Automobile sold 118,902 Chinese brand cars, down 20.4% from last year. Among them, three SUVs, CS35 series, CS55 and CS75 have declined seriously.

Chang'an CS75 sold 12,036 vehicles in November this year, down 54.5% from November last year. From January to November this year, it sold 132,680 vehicles, down 39.2% from last year. At present, the preferential range of Chang'an CS75 is also very large. The preferential price of bare-car has changed from 0.6 million yuan to 15,000 yuan, and it enjoys 24-period interest-free loan policy.

Chang'an just launched a new model CS35 PLUS at the end of October this year. Now it is sold together with the old classic CS35. In November this year, 12,751 CS35 series two models were sold. Compared with November last year, the total sales of the two models were not as good as last year's single classic CS35, a 27.4% decline.

Chang'an CS55 has a relatively stable performance. It sold 15,777 vehicles in November this year, basically the same as last November, but fell by 7.2% compared with last month. Chang'an CS55 was replaced in August this year, but the results are not obvious. Sales this month are still lower than rivals Geely Boyue (19,575) and Harvard H6 (54,226).

      The phenomenon that two objects move relative to each other to produce motion resistance between their contact surfaces is called friction, which is called friction. The existence of friction not only increases the power consumption, but also causes the wear of parts' contact surfaces. Therefore, lubricating oil is usually used between the relative moving surfaces of automobile parts to reduce friction. Failure of automotive parts 75% is caused by friction.
      Friction can be divided into dry friction, liquid friction, boundary friction and mixed friction according to the lubrication state of the parts.
      (1) dry friction
      The friction between the frictional surfaces without any lubricating medium is called dry friction.
      When the parts are in the state of dry friction, the surface of the parts is abraded sharply, so the surface of the moving parts of the automobile should avoid the occurrence of dry friction as far as possible.
      Dry friction and boundary friction are the main friction between the upper part of cylinder wall and piston ring. Dry friction will occur when the journal and bearing are subjected to impact load in the working process.
      (2) liquid friction
      Two the friction of the friction surface when the lubricant is completely separated is called liquid friction.
      In liquid friction, the two friction surfaces are completely separated by a layer of lubricating oil film with a thickness of 1.5-2.0um, which avoids direct contact between the working surfaces of the two parts. Friction only occurs between the lubricating fluid molecules, so the friction resistance is very small, and the wear of the parts is very slight.
      Most of the relative motion parts of a car are carried out under the condition of liquid friction (for example, crankshaft and bearing).
      (3) boundary friction
      Two friction surface separated by a very thin boundary film is called boundary friction.
      The oil film thickness is usually below 0.1um. Friction only occurs between the outer molecules of the boundary film, reducing the friction and wear of the parts. But its thickness is very small, and it is easy to be destroyed by impact and high temperature, so it is not as reliable as liquid friction.
      For example: between cylinder wall and piston ring; if the work crankshaft and journal between the insufficient supply of lubricant, easy to produce boundary friction.
      (4) Mixed friction
      The friction between two friction surfaces in the presence of dry friction, liquid friction and boundary friction is called mixed friction.
      In the actual working state, the parts usually work under the mixed friction state, and the friction state varies with the working conditions.

      In the second quarter of this year, Ford sold 23,957 electric vehicles in the United States, a 61% increase from the same period last year, when total electric vehicle sales were 14,843. Meanwhile, Ford’s sales of hybrid vehicles rose 55 percent year over year. However, sales of internal combustion engine cars were down 5 per cent year on year.
      Ford saw double-digit sales growth for several of its electric vehicles. Sales of the Ford F-150 Lightning rose 76.9% to 7,902 units. While new competitors such as the Tesla Cybertruck and the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST have all hit the U.S. market, the Ford F-150 Lightning remained the best-selling electric truck in the U.S. in the first half of the year, with 15,654 units sold.
      Second-quarter sales of the Ford Mustang Mach-E were up 46.5% year-over-year to 12,645 units. In the first half of this year, 22,234 units of the Mustang Mach-E were delivered, the best performance ever. Sales of Ford’s E-Transit electric van continued to climb in the second quarter, rising 95.5 percent to 3,410 units from a year earlier.
      In the first half of 2024, Ford sold a total of 44,189 electric vehicles in the U.S. market, up 72% from 25,709 in the same period last year.
      Ford CEO Jim Farley said the automaker is shifting to smaller, more affordable electric vehicles to close the gap with Tesla and fend off competitors like BYD worldwide. Referring to Americans’ love affair with “larger vehicles,” Farley said smaller electric vehicles are “very important to driving the decarbonisation of American society and the development of electric vehicles.”
      Ford’s surge in electric vehicle sales in the US market is enough for it to continue to overtake General Motors. In the United States, GM delivered 21,930 electric vehicles in the second quarter, compared with 38,355 in the first half of 2024.
      GM is also ramping up production by introducing new models, with electric models such as the Chevrolet Blazer, Equinox and Silverado coming to the U.S. market. While Tesla did not give specific sales figures by region, its second-quarter electric vehicle sales worldwide exceeded expectations, delivering 443,956 electric vehicles and remaining №1 in the U.S. market.
      As competition in the U.S. electric vehicle market intensifies, other competitors, including Hyundai and Kia, also set new EV sales records in the second quarter. Hyundai Motor, for example, set a new sales record with its IONIQ 5 model, which sold 18,728 units in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, sales of Kia’s first three-row electric SUV, the EV9, are also climbing.
