There are many kinds of welding methods. Several typical welding methods are introduced below.

(1) electrode arc welding

Electrode arc welding is a method of welding metal by using coated electrode as electrode and filler metal, arc burning between the end of electrode and the welded surface to melt electrode.

Characteristics and applications: the electrode arc welding equipment is simple, light and flexible. It can be used to weld short seams in maintenance and assembly, especially in difficult parts.

(2) resistance welding

Resistance welding (RW) is a method of using resistance heat generated by electric current passing through the contact surface of the weldment to heat the part of the weldment to a high plastic or semi-melting state, and to crystallize and solidify the welded joint under pressure.

Features and applications: easy to realize automation, high productivity; no filler metal, welding deformation is small; welding equipment is complex, power consumption is large. It is usually used for mass production.

(3) gas shielded arc welding

Gas shielded arc welding is to use gas as arc medium and protect arc and welding area by arc welding. Argon and carbon dioxide are the main protective gases.

Features and applications: heat concentration, faster welding speed, less deformation after welding, is conducive to the mechanization and automation of welding process.  Usually used for welding thin plates.

(4) brazing

Brazing refers to the method of using metal materials with lower melting point than the parent material as the solder, wetting the parent material and filling the gap between the workpiece interface with liquid solder and diffusing with the parent material.

Features and applications: low heating temperature, small welding stress and deformation; smooth welded joints; can weld multiple seams at the same time, high productivity; simple welding equipment, less investment; low welding strength. Brazing is not suitable for welding of general steel structure and heavy load and moving parts. It is mainly used for manufacturing precision instruments, electrical components, dissimilar metal components and complex sheet structures.

      Free forging
      Definition of free forging Free forging is the use of impact force or pressure on the metal between the top and bottom of the anvil free form in all directions, without any restrictions to obtain the desired shape, size and certain mechanical properties of the forging method.
      Free forging equipment
      The equipment of free forging can be divided into two categories: forging hammer and hydraulic press. The hammer used in production is air hammer and steam air hammer. Hydraulic press is the only way to produce large forgings by using static pressure generated by liquid to deform the blank.
      Basic process of free forging
      Rough upsetting is a forging process which makes the cross section of billet larger and the height smaller. There are two kinds of upsetting: integral upsetting and partial upsetting. Drawing and drawing is the opposite of upsetting. It is a forging process to increase the length of the billet and reduce the cross section. The punching process of punching holes or blind holes on billets is called punching. The characteristics of free forging and the application of free forging depend on manual operation to control the shape and size of forgings. Therefore, the forgings have low precision, large machining allowance, high labor intensity and low productivity. Therefore, it is mainly used in single-piece and small-batch production with simple structure and shape of forgings.

      Introduction of defects in rubber products vulcanizing
      1.Lack of glue: due to insufficient weight or poor fluidity, some defects should be found in rubber parts.
      2.Degumming: the failure of rubber and frame inserts will result in disengagement or separation.
      3.Bubbles: also known as "bulging", because the gas is coated in the rubber epidermis and the formation of local epidermis blistering phenomenon; Thanks for the help and support of Chongqing Feilong jiangli’s  Technical department.
      4.Rotten bubbles: also known as "pit gas", because the gas has not been discharged from the cavity, so that the die corner of the rubber cavity is less sulfur sticky, and protruding from the surrounding rubber surface phenomenon
      5.Gel cracking: a phenomenon of cracking on the glue surface.
      6.Under sulfur: the inner surface of the gum is microporous, and the exterior is uplifted and deformed.
      7.Sticking mould: the phenomenon that the local glue of vulcanized product is adhered to the wall of the mold cavity.
      8.Hot die: also known as curling edge, "bite edge" and so on, refers to the product parting line is not smooth, cracks, serrated waste edge and other phenomena.

      Natural rubber (NR) mainly consists of rubber hydrocarbon (polyisoprene), containing a small amount of protein, water, resinic acid, sugar and inorganic salt.
      High flexibility, high tensile strength, good tear resistance and electrical insulation, good abrasion resistance and drought resistance, good processing, easy to bond other materials, better than most synthetic rubber in comprehensive performance.
      The disadvantages are poor oxygen resistance and ozone resistance, easy to aging and deterioration;
      Poor oil and solvent resistance, low corrosion resistance to acid and alkali;
      Low heat resistance.
      Temperature range of use: about 60 ℃ ~ + 80 ℃.
      Making tires, rubber shoes, rubber pipes, tape, insulation and sheaths for wire and cable, and other common products.
      It is especially suitable for manufacturing torsional vibration eliminator, engine shock absorber, machine support, rubber - metal suspension element, diaphragm and moulded products.
      Chongqing feilong jiangli has many years' experience in manufacturing rubber parts. Pls feel free to contact me if you have any queastion! [email protected]
