The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is calling for
link hidden, please login to view at Joe’s Garage. Selected sessions will be presented live and in-person at AAPEX 2025 at the Venetian Expo & Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from November 4-6, 2025. Among the selection criteria are the following:
● Relevance to the independent repair community;
● Quality of the proposed session;
● Achievable learning outcomes;
● Presenter or trainer qualifications; and
● Relevance to attendees’ day-to-day work or career.
Session proposals that are promotional or sale-sy in nature will not be selected. Questions about session proposals should be directed to [email protected].
Applicants may submit multiple proposals for consideration and be selected for up to six different possible sessions. Each successfully selected session will be awarded an honorarium of $500 per session, hotel accommodation – plus a $750 stipend toward meals, transportation or other related incidentals.

Applications are now being accepted for the annual Mitchell 1 Automotive Technology Scholarship through March 31. High school seniors and college students in the U.S. and Canada who wish to pursue a career in the auto repair industry can apply by visiting the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Central website at

The recipient will receive a $2,500 scholarship, a check for $500 and roundtrip airfare and accommodations for the winner and a guest to attend the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) conference, June 9-12, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan.
To be eligible, scholarship applicants must be a current student majoring in automotive technology / auto shop repair course work and meet the following criteria:
Nomination from their NACAT instructor Minimum overall 3.0 grade point average Planning to attend an accredited college or university, or already enrolled in an accredited college or university A U.S. or Canadian citizen By completing a single application
