introduced six additions to its Coolant/Antifreeze lineup for North American and European passenger and light-duty vehicles. 

AISIN’s Extended-Life, prediluted antifreeze/coolants are “meticulously designed to meet the rigorous demands of North American vehicles,” the company said. They are available in color-coded formulations – such as purple specifically engineered for Stellantis and Chrysler vehicles; yellow for Ford Motor Co.; and orange for Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors vehicles – and including any internal combustion engines as well as electric and hybrid vehicles equipped with indirect cooling battery systems.

has also introduced three European antifreeze/coolants. Available in color-coded formulations, including pink for European applications that include, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Ferrari, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini, Porsche, Saab, Volvo, and Volkswagen; blue that includes several of the applications mentioned above with the addition of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter; and a third color, violet, for newer European vehicles.

AISIN coolants are tested to meet and exceed industry standards and eliminate the need for supplemental coolant additives and chemically charged filters, making them the ideal choice for internal combustion engines, electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid technologies, according to Larrow Kaufman, senior sales manager, Aftermarket Division, AISIN World Corp. of America.

      Dayco, a supplier of engine products and drive systems for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, is expanding its timing chain kit line with 41 part numbers to cover another 49 million vehicles in operation (VIO). Additionally, the company is introducing the next generation of its AutoPartIQ inventory assessment tool—with new features for a more productive customer experience.

      Cloyes Expands Product Line with New Timing Chain Kits

The company said this latest product launch provides aftermarket solutions for a broad selection of popular vehicle makes and models. Cloyes said this quarter’s new offerings include comprehensive timing chain kits for Ford and Subaru vehicles. They’re designed to support Ford models such as the F-150, Mustang, Expedition and Transit, with engine sizes ranging from 2.7L to 3.7L. Subaru models, including the Forester, Impreza, Outback, and BRZ, are also covered, with kits tailored for 2.0L and 2.5L engines.
      Cloyes further expanded its product line with new timing chain kits for Mercedes-Benz and Mazda vehicles. Mercedes-Benz kits are designed for the 2.1L and 2.7L engines found in models such as the E250, GLE300d, and Sprinter vans. For Mazda, owners of vehicles such as the Mazda 3, CX-5, and MX-5 Miata can benefit from Cloyes’ new timing and oil pump chain kits, the company said.

      Standard Motor Products Expands Ignition Program

      Standard Motor Products, Inc. announced the continued expansion of its Ignition Coil program. Standard and Blue Streak offer more than 700 Coils, with new numbers added each month. Blue Streak by Standard Ignition Coils are available in multi-packs for a complete coil service, the company said.

      link hidden, please login to viewexplained that it evaluates the original part, identifies the OE issues, and corrects those problems to deliver improved reliability. For instance, ignition coils on the Ford 4.6L engine generate too much heat, leading to premature failure. To solve this issue, Blue Streak by Standard FD503 Ignition Coils were redesigned with two additional bobbin segments to better distribute the energy, resulting in less heat and a longer service life. Many popular OE coils use a two-piece design requiring an O-ring that breaks down over time, allowing moisture to enter the coil and cause failure. Standard said it created a sealed, one-piece design that doesn’t require an O-ring, eliminating the risk of moisture intrusion. Recently released Standard Coils introduce coverage for the 2023-21 Ford F-150, 2023-20 Subaru Legacy and Outback, and 2022-19 Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs. Additional new coverage includes popular vehicles like the 2024-22 Volkswagen Jetta and Taos, 2024-23 Ford Super Duty trucks, and the 2020-15 Alfa Romeo 4C. Currently, 15 Blue Streak Ignition Coil Multipacks are available for popular vehicles, with additional applications in development.
