  1. Have you checked your ball joints and control arm bushings? Is the front end tight? A bad ball joint or contol arm bushing can cause shaking when the brake pedal is applied. Also can be a sticking caliper, rust under rotor hub. Is it pulling at all? Sticking caliper, twisted brake line...can cause issues as well. This is assuming your Autozone rotors are not out of round. If the front end is tight, I would try a different brand of rotors.
  2. I would be careful buying a used abs module because it may not code to your car correctly. Might even throw other codes. Need to be matched to your ECM in some cases.
  3. Some of the equinoxs came with factory installed block heaters in the oil pan and plug in the front grill. If it didn't, I'm not sure you can install a factory setup without replacing the oil pan. You can try the magnetic from Katz or one on Amazon:
  4. Where did you buy the battery? If you got the wrong size, most retailers will let you exchange if not installed. They should have looked up the correct battery...Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, Napa, etc.
  5. Did you find the leak? That code is for a small evap leak.
  6. Do a fuel injector balance test with a scanner, you may have a bad injector. Also might be a good idea to do a compression test.
  7. 1999 Ford Ranger should have a rack and pinion,so no steering knuckle https://www.oemfordpart.com/v-1999-ford-ranger--xlt--3-0l-v6-gas/steering--steering-gear-and-linkage Are you looking for the steering column shaft?
  8. Have you checked ebay? https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/bn_7012519101 Do you have a part #?
  9. I'm familiar with Raybestos brakes 😃
  10. Advance owns worldpac and worldpac has more OE lookup than aftermarket available in their catalog.
  11. O'reilly as an example, does 90 days on the replaced item: https://www.oreillyauto.com/warranty If a product is replaced under this warranty (“Defective Product”), a replacement product will be covered for 90 days from the date of exchange, or for the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is greater. This warranty for installed vehicle parts shall terminate immediately if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the vehicle that had the defective product installed, or if you install or use the replacement product on another vehicle. Autozone same: https://www.autozone.com/lp/termsAndConditions#autoZone'sLimitedWarranty AutoZone's Limited Warranty If a part fails during the warranty period shown on your receipt, bring the part to an AutoZone store and you will receive a replacement or refund. Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, other faulty parts, improper installation or off-road, commercial or marine use. Warranties on replacement parts cover the unused portion of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. Warranties expire when you sell your vehicle.
  12. That's pretty much everywhere. Warranty starts from the original purchase date, even with replacements. See https://www.rockauto.com/docs/warranty Check out this part: We hope the warranty summaries below will help you in your purchase decision. Please be aware that: Like other retailers of branded products, RockAuto does not offer any product warranty of our own--we honor the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product. If you have a problem with a part during the warranty period, please submit a warranty claim through our Order Status & Returns page. The summary below does not include all the terms and limitations of each manufacturer's warranty, and manufacturers may change their warranty terms without notice (to you or to us). For warranty details, please visit the manufacturer's website. Warranties apply only to the original purchaser of the part, and to the vehicle for which it was listed in our catalog and on which the part was originally installed. Terms listed apply only for parts used on a private passenger vehicle; warranties for cargo, commercial or off-road vehicles may be more limited. Warranties offer only replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds and no reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other expenses. Replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty term. Warranties begin upon delivery. Wholesaler Closeout items have a 30 day warranty (but still are covered by our Return Policy). This is where a local parts store that may be a bit more expensive, maye have taken care of you and defected out the bearing.
  13. My guess would be early 70's VW bug rear bumper or some other smaller car from the 70's.
  14. You might be better off when you park your car just place a box or some object there if you are concerned about access with a stick and a break in.
  15. Were you able to identify what these are? I took a stab at it, but no idea. Looks like a 90's pickup rear light assembly
  16. I used car-parts.com quite often in the US for used parts.
  17. All this stuff is from China. Its not automotive specific, all kinds of "stuff"
  18. Normally all over the counter sales require a receipt. Now, is it an autozone specific part? What is it? Parts are sold under different brands so unless its an autozone in-house brand, it would be hard to know where it was sold. Lets say you brought back a Duralast battery still under warranty. Well that argument would be better because only autozone sells that brand of battery. But typically you need proof of purchase for retail sales. Below is their return policy.
  19. Typically shops will markup parts, which is how they make money to stay in business. If you found a shop to install customer supplied parts, that's great. Just ask them what to buy. However, in most cases shops will not accept customer supplied parts due to warranty and lack of markup ability. Did a shop tell you to replace the compressor and condenser? Compressor kits don't normally include a condenser, it comes with a new compressor, accumulator or filter drier, expansion device, oil, and required gaskets and O-rings.
  20. That looks like a vintage Ford 3 carb setup. Not sure what it would be worth, you may have to go to a vintage ford forum where there may be some interest and knowledge. I imagine someone restoring something may find value in it.
  21. That should work, any type of high heat wrap.
  22. Napa doesn't make anything so its all just privately branded. That being said, you have to watch what you buy. Rock Auto doesn't have their own brand and sells the manufacturer branded parts directly from other suppliers. The reality is that since rock auto, amazon, and other online sellers hit the market and online purchasing increased, margins dropped because of heavy competition. Large companies like Napa have more overhead than Rock Auto. Rock Auto is drop-shipping, they don't have any warehouses or parts stores. They are order takes and have negotiated with companies like Parts Authority and other WDs to send out (drop ship) their orders. They make much less margin but sell a lot. They have much less overhead; no stores, no large staff of employees, etc., so they can afford to do that. Napa can't sell at those prices without closing some stores, laying off some people, and reducing overhead to operate at lower margins. So...to keep margins higher, Napa renegotiates with manufacturers and sometimes quality suffers because the manufacturers try to make it for less.
  23. I have and usually the pricing is cheaper, but lookout for knockoffs from china.
  24. Do you work for them? Looks like a promotion topic 🤬
  25. Wow, that's ridiculous that it took so long and they didn't even do a good job. Looks like it's Smith's Auto Supply in Washington Pa. When you see that, it's a Napa independent and not a Napa corporate store, so they run their own business with distribution from Napa. Looks like you gave them a negative review already, that's too bad they couldn't make it right for you. Are there any other machine shops and parts stores in the area?
